Welcome Seminarians

The Knights of Columbus is pleased to announce that free membership will now be available to seminarians.

By using a promo code to join online, seminarians can begin their membership in the Knights. As members, they also have the opportunity to join a Knights of Columbus council where they can continue to grow in their relationship with Christ and his Church through Faith in Action programs, fraternity and a built-in support network.

Seminarians who are already Online Members of the Knights of Columbus can receive free membership by renewing their membership using the promo code via the online portal.

Through this new membership offer, seminarians can join online and enjoy free membership for as long as they remain in seminary or are ordained to the priesthood. To join, go to and enter code: SEM18

Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore sees the value of seminarians joining the Knights of Columbus.

“In the seminary, it‘s not uncommon to be studying far from your diocese and feel a little homesick. All of us desire community and the Knights can help provide that for seminarians” said Archbishop Lori.

e-Membership Program

  Why recruit through e-Membership?

·         This new membership class offers possibilities for those men who are not yet ready to fully commit to council membership and the responsibilities required.  This especially applies to those Catholic men who are currently working to build careers and families, both of which require major time commitments.

·         It allows men the opportunity to participate in our service functions as desired, to strengthen their and their families’ faith and to financially protect their Catholic families. It allows us the opportunity to act as mentors to these Catholic men and their families, while encouraging the strengthening of the domestic Church while providing benefits to our Church and our communities.

·         It allows an opportunity for e-Members to get to know us and the Order prior to making the full commitment of council membership.
