Brothers,

The first annual Operation Restoring Veteran Hope was a complete success and we all look forward in continuing our "Serving Those That Served." This was collaboration at its finest. We are already in the planning stages for the 2nd Annual Operation Restoring Veteran Hope event that presently is scheduled for Oct 4-6, 2019.

Operation Restoring Veteran Hope could not have been possible without the combined efforts of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph's Youth Camp, Stop, Drop and Push Campaign, VAREP (Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals). Special thanks to Tyson Gentz, former President of St. Joseph's Youth Camp and his crew.

Together, we created an incredible 3-day retreat where 73 Veterans came together to heal, share stories of hope around the camp fire and enjoy the comradery that is so unique to those that have worn the uniform. We had Veterans ages 29 to 72 that participated in horseback riding, kayaking, card competitions and relaxation in nature.

Thank you to everyone that has donated and continues to support our mission that allow us to offer alternative/holistic therapy options.

I am asking all our councils and assemblies to consider participating in this worthy cause this coming year of 2019, especially all our assemblies in the Patriotic Degree of the Order.

 Yours in Christ
