A Higher Purpose
Save lives and help women choose life by giving them the opportunity to view their unborn children on ultrasound machines at pro-life pregnancy centers. This initiative is funded by the Arizona Knights of Columbus State Council with matching grants from the Supreme Council’s Culture of Life Fund.

Overview
The Knights of Columbus works together as an organization to purchase ultrasound machines for qualifying pregnancy centers. After the State Council raises 50% of the cost, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council will provide the other 50% to complete funding for purchase of an ultrasound. Or, if the Council raises 100% of the cost of a vehicle outfitted to serve as a mobile medical unit for a pregnancy center, the Supreme Council will provide 100% of the funds for an ultrasound machine to be used in that vehicle.

How to Give to the Ultrasound Initiative

Any and all funds are welcome, whether your Council or Assembly makes a line item in the budget, obtains Life roses and request donations for them, or holds a fund raiser specifically designated to aid the Ultrasound Initiative:

FAST ON FRIDAYS

There are so many unborn babies that continue to lose their lives through abortions.
What else can we do besides prayer, to help save the lives of these babies?

          "Fast"
          Our Lord told this to one of the Knights that prays at an abortion clinic.
          "Lord, will this really touch women that are going to the abortion clinics and help save their babies lives?"
          He heard Our Lord respond in his head with such a powerful "Yes" that it shook his entire body.

          Fast Fridays, Abstain from Meat. Offer up your fasting to help save the lives of unborn babies that might be aborted. You can do it! How many unborn babies' lives might you save?

Faith in Action - march for life

March for Life

A Higher Purpose
Show public support for the right to life. Knights of Columbus councils are encouraged to participate in or sponsor local, state/province, regional or national Marches for Life. Councils that coordinate at least 50 participants or who organize a local March for Life will receive credit for this program.

Overview
The Knights of Columbus encourages others to choose life through public support of the pro-life cause. Knights can organize and participate in local/state/province/regional Marches for Life and/or organize participation of Knights/parishioners/students/etc., in bus trips to the national Marches in Washington, D.C., Ottawa, Mexico City, throughout the Philippines, or in other countries.

Featured Program Requirements
Councils are required to organize a minimum of 50 marchers to participate in a national, state, or local March for Life or councils must themselves organize a March for Life. Report activity using the March for Life Report Form (#10697).
